INSIDE:
If I could be like Mike.
Happy 1990

It's Friday, you can't be bothered working, so step back in time nearly 20 years - at least for today.
1990
Paris Roobaix - Closest finish ever
In 1990 I was more interested in following Michael Jordan than some poofy looking blokes in lycra. My bike at the time was a Hallmark MTB with Shimano SIS, weighing in at a healthy 16kg.
In 1993 I was lucky enough to see Jordan play in Chicago.
Of course, in 1990 there was PDM. Also dug out some old rides to post since the velo-candy gallery is missing.
Thursday night.
After thrashing the field in C grade, there is only one place for Luca to go. B grade.
Alice is looking good to make the same jump from B to A.
HEY FIXIE, DO A SKID!
I yelled to the guy wearing the M*A*S*H* kit on the hellride - which was about the only good thing I can say about the ride.
This is for Toby who had only seen a track skid when I used to fool around between races at DISC (on the infield).
CLICK AND WATCH THIS, TOBY!
Just like bike races, the best thing about Skid Comps are the envitable crashes.
Also featuring some backyard 'Devil takes Hindmost' action.
Next weeken, come watch it LIVE.

Have a good one.
Ride safe - Wear a helmet.
