Don't throw out leftovers.

It's been some time since decent meals were concocted in our kitchen.  Over the past few months our bathroom renovation became a kitchen > home makeover.  We're now nearly finished and just in time for winter, my favourite time of the year to cook!

 
 
On this particularly chilly Melbourne Friday morning, I received an email that asked where Indigestion went?  Time has been passing very quickly, and too long has passed since I dished out some ideas and thoughts for anyone who may like to be distracted. With any days endeavour, it should start with a good solid breakfast.  
 
Leftover creamy french potatoes, transformed into herbed potato cakes
Chipolatas 
Yummy eggs
and some tomato for color.  
 
The inspiration was hearty, easy, and comforting.  It was also going to be a busy day so sustenance was of importance.  The potatoes do take a bit of effort, but not much. Mix some herbs, pancetta, and/or bacon into the mash, then a little bit of dusting with seasoned flour, and into the pan. All in all it took me 30 minutes to get onto a plate. 
 
Moral of the story - don't throw out leftovers.
