Melburn - London - Mt Ventoux - Kings Point
This was the first track bike I ever sorted for a friend back in 2003. It went from Melburn, to working the scummy depths of London, on to summiting the great heights on Mont Ventoux, all with the same 'lady' owner. Now she is just ridden to the shops.
'Cookie Monster' was originally blue. Now she is purple and gold. The search to find gold fittings, bolts, nipples, stem, post, chainrings, chain and everything that can be anodised gold was extensive. Busyman finished the job with custom leather saddle and straps.
Rather than posting an instructional on how to anodise parts (at home), here's one that is far more useful.
