Camera phones are the adjustable wrenches of camera's. They come in handy but they don't do the best job.

High on High st.

I was asked my thoughts on a new magazine that is in circulation, actually there's a few. It's easy to say 'I could do better' but anyone who has followed this corner of the web since 2003 knows that fyx IS better. It's just not in print. Yet.

Since I began people posting photos and word on the web, readers have emailed saying 'you should do a book'. For the longest period I always thought I didn't have enough quality content.

Then I went to an undisclosed Melburn location to get a frame refinished.

It's not often I see my own work in print, and it made me smile and laugh.

For those who love to crunch numbers, the Mc'Googles told me 194,992 individuals visited fyxomatosis last year with nearly a million hits. Now I don't know all your names and even fewer faces, but I always try and remember them. It's just plain good manners. Those numbers are not in the same blogisphere as Pro-bloggers John or Bruce who been around for less time but not bad for a bike courier from Melburn's northern suburbs.

McGoogle also told me you spend an average of 3.32seconds here. Say you visit once a day during the work week - that's 15 hours you've spent here in a year!

Don't worry, I won't tell your boss.

I was trying to dig up a photo I took of Prolly doing a wheelie in Japan from 2007 and I found an old post, which I should rename WAR AND PIECES - which itself alone was more interesting and substantial than a lot of the offerings at the newstand. All contained in one mere post.

I think I'm ready.

Are you?
