Fortunately for me, I have this to rinse it throughly out of your mind's turntable.
BM's Concorde PDM. The bike Sean Kelly (great racer / average commentator) rode in the 1989 Vuelta. A bare metal Cat. 1 restoration by Cycleart.
If you don't fancy the drama of shipping a frame around the globe, get Sun Graphics to handle your next high end paint restoration. Local and world class.
BM took 18 months to collect a complete Suntour Superbe Pro ensemble in equisite condition for the frame. NOS 3ttt bars and stem, and somewhat questionable bar tape - until it went on. This bike is all class, right down the the hand made tubulars.
Photos don't convey how ebb the Suntour drivetrain is. Silky smooth and almost frictionless.
Another local and world class place to finish the bike is Shifterbikes.
One take / no edit.
Can't keep the all. Check out the latest frames to whet your vintage appetite. Some old, some new, all of them tasty. Somec, Pinarello, Colnago, Ciocc, Eddy Merckx, Tommasini, Cinelli, Concorde, Grandis and Guerciotti. More coming.
