Normal is merely average

Welcome to the weekend.

HELL YEAH/HELL RIDE

If you are from Melburn and ride a bike, chances are you have heard of the HELL RIDE. What started out as a morning training ride organised by two cops is now a true cult for reasons good and bad. I learned of it through a fellow bike courier and decided to check it out for myself, on my track bike. I did it a few times, even brakeless - for no other reason other than I could.

Jono Hall is no stranger to the HELL RIDE, and this is his latest ride. A carbon fixed beast. The inspiration began with the Velocity wheels. Jono had the frame laying about and had track dropouts fitted. Frame was then sent to Sun Graphics with a brief of 'Go crazy!'.

Jono had the Croce D'Aune Delta brakes from his racing days, FYXO supplied the remaining Campagnolo C-Record goods, and one of our new satin finish BREV. FYXOMATOSIS chainrings.

Assembled with the care and attention to detail synonomous with Shifter Bikes.

The electric tape on the seat pillar is the hallmark of a well travelled pro.

The Happiness Advantage.

Last night I heard the commonly uttered words 'not bike friendly'. This always results in a tirade of 'unfriendly experiences' on the road shared verbally or on blogs, the paper, television, radio whatever medium they think up next.

Whatever the topic, if you start with negative, you are promoting negative.

With all the constant sh1t that flows at you from all angles and all the media streams it is a constant battle to rise about the negative and permeate positive.

With that in mind, here is a worth 12 minute investment in changing your future life experiences.

Happy Friday!

Ride safe.

BIGGER!
